Aerial Yoga Dance Flow
Please watch this aerial yoga dance flow on my Youtube channel. Help support my Youtube channel by liking the video and subscribe to my channel! In aerial yoga class, you can perform the same poses you do on a yoga mat, except you use a silk hammock that’s suspended from the ceiling as a prop to support you through the various flows. The purpose of the hammock is to help you improve flexibility and build strength, while allowing you to do more challenging poses without added pressure on your shoulders, spine, or head.
Facts about Aerial yoga
- firstly it is a hybrid type of yoga,
- secondly it was first developed in 2014,
- thirdly it combines traditional yoga poses, Pilates, and dance with the use of a hammock.
In addition it’ll help you hold the pose for longer and more comfortably. With some assist from the swing, you can learn more about each pose and how to subtly adjust so you get the most out of everything.
Suspending yourself in the swing will challenge your balance and help strengthen your core muscles. Aerial is great for relieving compressed joints and correcting muscle imbalances, while helping you develop better stamina and improve your breathing and alertness. You’ll walk away with better traction of the spine, increased strength and more flexibility.
